CIN is the online version of Chemical Industry Notes®, which covers information related to the chemical business industry. CIN also provides worldwide coverage of governmental regulatory and legislative activities that impact the chemical industry. Sources for CIN include both U.S. and non-U.S. journals, trade magazines, newspapers, newsletters, government publications, and special reports. Bibliographic information, indexing terms, titles, abstracts, CAS Registry Numbers, and chemical names are searchable. An online thesaurus is available for the Geographic Terms (/GT) field. For convenient choice of pricing, the HCIN file – identical to CIN – is available. H files have higher connect hour fees and no search term pricing, while the standard files have lower connect hour fees plus search term charges.
