In this session you will learn about the key benefits of STN AnaVist including the analysis of information from three leading sci-tech and patent resources - CAPLUS, USPATFULL and PCTFULL, and an interactive workspace that displays a range of dynamically integrated data visualizations, including bar charts, matrix charts, and Research Landscapes (cluster/contour maps). This session will also include harmonization and standardization of data prior to visualization, a data grouping feature that permits further editing and customization of the data occurring in any particular field across the available STN databases, and flexible tools for deeper analysis of data subsets. You will also learn about what's new in STN Express with Discover, Analysis Edition, Version 8.0 including the new CAS Registry Number and Role Report Wizard, new encryption options for increased data security, and major enhancements to post-processing tools, including the Variable Group (R-group) Analysis Table and patent information table tools. - Using STN to Find Promising New Areas for Research
