Latest Release of New STN® Extends Export to Excel®  Support to 28 More Databases

Closely following the introduction of Export to Excel support for CAplusSM and DWPISM in July, the October release of New STN extends Excel support to an additional 28 databases, further facilitating workflow integration and analysis of new STN search results.

The latest release also enhances structure drawing and query precision with the addition of deuterium and tritium atoms to the structure editor Common Atoms palette and superatom support for DCR. Other recent structure search improvements for the Derwent Markush Resource (DWPIM), DCR and REAXYSFILESub include better search performance, as well as increased precision of closed substructure searches, element count, atom lock, ring lock and matching.

For more details about the release, please view a recorded What's New presentation. A number of additional informational resources, including Quick Start Tutorials, are available on the STN training webpage and within new STN.

On November 19, 2015, the new Derwent Markush Resources Database (DWPIM) was launched on STN.

STN now delivers MARPAT and DWPIM together on a single platform for the first time ever, making new STN the only unified Markush solution, offering chemical patent searchers unsurpassed coverage and highly efficient access to the rapidly growing number of chemical structures disclosed in patents.

New STN is currently available to all fixed-fee and Global Value Pricing customers at www.stn.org.
