COMPUAB reloaded; updating to resume; current-awareness alerts (SDIs) affected
19. December 2004
Computer and Information Systems Abstracts (COMPUAB), produced by Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA), has been reloaded.
COMPUAB contains information on theoretical research and practical applications of computer science. Areas of coverage include control and information theories, mathematics, operations research, and probability and statistics. Scientific research and government policies on computer science information are contained in the database.
COMPUAB corresponds to the printed publication Computer and Information Systems Abstracts. Source materials include over 3,000 serial titles, including books, conference proceedings, government reports, and journals.
COMPUAB contains records from 1981 to the present. COMPUAB is updated monthly, and current-awareness alerts (SDIs) are available monthly.
Saved single-file answer sets, saved multi-file answer sets, saved current-awareness alert (SDI) answers, and current search transcripts, i.e., less than 90 days old, involving COMPUAB are impacted by the reload.
The revised COMPUAB Database Summary Sheet is available in STNGUIDE and on the WEB on our Database List.
