GBFULL enhanced with patent drawing images	20. May 2005
GBFULL (United Kingdom (GB) Patents FULL Text) which covers the full text of all patent applications published in the United Kingdom has been enhanced.

Improved searching of U.S. Patent Classifications for U.S. patent records in CA/CAplus	07. May 2005
Searching of U.S. patent classifications in CA/CAplus has been improved and is now consistent with USPATFULL/USPAT2. The changes include the following:

Patent Searching in CA / CAplus & USPATFULL / USPAT2: change in filing date for U.S. applications	30. April 2005
Patent searching, including current-awareness alerts (SDIs), based on application date in CA/CAplus and USPATFULL/USPAT2 may be affected by a change in filing date for U.S. applications.

New CAS Information Use Policies available online	20. April 2005
Effective April 18, 2005, the CAS/STN General Data Use Restrictions were revised and replaced with the new CAS Information Use Policies. These new policies are designed to support the changing needs of today's researchers and information professionals.

EMBASE - Database reloaded and enhanced	04. April 2005
EMBASE has been reloaded and enhanced. The enhancements include the addtition of:

EPFULL has been enhanced with References and Related Patent Information	30. March 2005
Information on Referenced Patent and Non-Patent Literature and data on Related Patents has been loaded to EPFULL. The references are those from search reports (EPA1 or EPA3). Please note that the so-called XP reference numbers for non-patent literature are included.

PATDPASPC: German SPC database new on STN	25. March 2005
PATDPASPC (German Supplementary Protection Certificates for Drugs and Plant Protecting Agents), the SPC database of the German Patent and Trademark Office, has been released on STN on March 20, 2005.

KOREAPAT enhanced	22. March 2005
Effective March 20, 2005 KOREAPAT (Korean Patent Abstracts) has been enhanced with the SDI option.
