How to use "Defined Searches"
Principle:

The "Defined Searches" option allows you to completely define and save an STN Easy search, including all the search terms, search fields, and the databases to be searched. A "Defined Search" may be executed, without any modification, at a later time. This option is recommended for frequently used search strategies.

Benefit:

"Defined Searches" make your information search more convenient, time-saving and efficient. You don´t have to recreate search strategies once again at later time.

How to use:

E.g. start a broad "Defined Search", then refine it for free with specific terms to narrow your search.

Costs: Saving of "Defined Searches" is free of charge. Standard STN Easy search prices are in effect.
Note: Within "STN Easy for Intranets" only the Site Administrator is allowed to save "Defined Searches" for the user community.
