4.3 million organic and inorganic chemical compounds, including basic compounds, salts, mixtures, low molecular oligomers, enzymes, proteins, chemically modified polysaccharides ad standard polymers.

Covered since 1999 are chemical compounds from Derwent World Patents Index (DWPITM) documents classified in Chemical Patents Index (CPI) Sections B (Pharmaceuticals),
C (Agrochemicals) and/or E (General Chemicals). The file is updated twice a week with about 3,000 new chemical compounds.

Substance records contain a unique DCR number, chemical structure diagrams, systematic and commonly used chemical names and synonyms, molecular formula, specific structure identifiers, substance descriptors and controlled terms.

DCR is only available on STNext.
