WIPO/PCT Patents Full-Text data- base covers the full text of PCT (Patent Co- operation Treaty) pub- lished applications issued under the auspices of the World Intellec-tual Property Organization (WIPO). At present, 152 contracting states participate in the PCT system. Ab-stracts are in English and French. The text fields are generally avai-lable in one or more of the official languages English, French, Ger-man, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Russian. Some are also available in other European languages. English machine trans-lations of title, abstract, descrip- tion or claims are available for the following languages: French, Span- ish, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.
