New Korean Patent Full-Text Database KRFULL released

The new patent full-text database KRFULL for patent applications, granted patents, and utility models published by the Korean Intellectual Property Office has been released. Full-text in machine-translated English is available for the complete file.

KRFULL contains documents from 1978 to the present with more than 4.47 million national family records, more than 6.2 million publications, and more than 3.77 million front page images. Detailed description and claims in English are available since the first publication year 1978. Additionally, the records are available for display in Korean.

Features include numeric property search to enable numeric search in physical and chemical properties, key terms to support efficient full-text searching and results evaluation, standardized and normalized patent assignee names, CPC combination sets, and an additional update date for the full-text only. Bibliographic information has been augmented with related application information, and original patent, application and priority numbers.
