The scripting feature is a powerful search tool unique to STN which is mainly used by experts to automate the STN retrieval. Scripts support your daily workflow when developing and sharing search strategies with colleagues and for running highly customized alerts. Scripts could also function as search assistants for less experienced users.

In this e-Seminar, we briefly refresh the basic script commands and introduce you to advanced scripting capabilities. You learn how to set up a sophisticated monitoring solution, allowing you to monitor multiple structures or patent numbers in the CAS and Derwent suite of databases, respectively INPADOC by just starting a single master script.
