CAS Formulations - Overview and Practical Search Strategies

CAS Formulations on STNext provides a deeper indexing of active and inactive compounds found in formulations. The session focuses on an overview of the content, how this data is manually curated and how some practical search strategies work for formulations in pharma, agro and cosmetics. Since the launch in September 2019 several enhancements have been made to simplify the search strategies. Given the structure of this data, search strategies are quite different from searching other abstract or full-text databases. CAS Formulations provides very precise search results that would not be possible in other sources.
