CAS STNext® Coffee Lecture: Use cases for scripts in CAS STNext®
Category: Recorded e-Seminars
Topic: Commands & Functionality
STN® scripting is a programming language used to write a repeatable and adaptable series of commands and statements that run automatically once the script is activated. STN® commands can be placed in a script, which gives the user a lot of flexibility in defining automated search strategies. Hence, a script is an ideal tool to replace complex and repetitive searches on CAS STNext®. In this CAS STNext® Coffee Lecture we will present typical applications for scripts such as alerts, complicated searches as well as statistical analyses. On May 11th we will follow-up with an CAS STNext® E-Seminar that will explain and exemplify script statements to support new users with writing their own scripts.
