Multi-File Structure Searching

STNext has a wealth of chemical structure information, from patents and non-patent literature, in several databases. 
Many structure databases are paired with bibliographic files for easy cross-file searching.  This session will cover best practices for conducting structure-to-bibliographic searches in our most-used databases – Derwent Chemistry Resource/Derwent World Patents Index, REGISTRY/CAplus, and ReaxysfileSub/ReaxysfileBib.  While the basics of the structure drawing tool will not be fully covered by this session, the focus will be on creating comprehensive search strategies, optimizing for file-specific content and features, and combining answer sets from multiple files/removing duplicates.  Search examples will be included.
