Multifile Structure Searching on STNext Why is it Important? How is it Done?

This session explores the benefits of multi-file structure searching on STNext. The presentation explains why various indexing policies, document coverage and other differences require searches in the Derwent Chemistry Resource (DCR) and Derwent Markush Resource (DWPIM) databases, plus the CAS REGISTRY and MARPAT databases for comprehensiveness. It also shows strategies on how to edit structures to focus the searches to specific databases. The session illustrates how to deal efficiently with the results, and identification and-or removal of duplicates.
