Derwent's GENESEQ patent sequence database reloaded and enhanced

Derwent's GENESEQ (previously DGENE) patent sequence database for information on nucleic acid and protein sequences extracted from the original (basic) patent documents published by 57 patent offices worldwide has been reloaded and modernized:

The similarity searching packages BLAST and GETSIM (FASTA) have been updated to the most current versions, the performance significantly increased, BLAST algorithms added and the bibliographic data enhanced.

The reload of GENESEQ will be followed by the reload of the biosequence file USGENE in the next months. PATGENE was reloaded four weeks ago.
